Job summary

Sonova Group in Warsaw is recruiting a Manual Test Engineer to join our Research & Development team. You will test and validate our mobile software used to operate hearing devices, ensuring quality from planning to execution.

You\'ll work with developers, verification and infrastructure, design and execute manual tests, report defects, and contribute to testing practices in a hybrid work model with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant manual testing experience.
  • Experience in a regulated industry.
  • Experience with Polarion test management.
  • Experience in testing mobile applications.
  • Fluency in English (minimum B2).

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute test cases for regression and new functionality.
  • Analyze, design, document, and review test cases; maintain test assets.
  • Report and investigate bugs, retest fixes.
  • Help define and improve test engineering practices, processes, tools, and infrastructure.
  • Support feature development teams with investigations and exploratory testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, verification, and infrastructure.

Join our Research & Development team, where you will be responsible for testing and developing our products. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for developing a mobile application used to operate our hearing aids.

Tasks & Responsibilities

As a Manual Test Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and executing tests used to verify the quality of our mobile software.

  • Execute manual test cases for regression and new functionality
  • Analyze, design, document, and review test cases, and maintain the existing test base
  • Report and investigate bugs, retest fixes
  • Help define, create, and improve test engineering practices, processes, tools, and test infrastructure
  • Support feature development teams with investigations and exploratory testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, verification, and infrastructure
More About You

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in manual testing. This role involves close collaboration with colleagues across teams, so strong communication skills are essential. At the same time, you will work independently and take ownership of your work from start to finish, ensuring high-quality delivery.

Essential Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in a regulated industry
  • Experience with Polarion
  • Experience in testing mobile applications
  • Fluency in English (minimum B2 level)

  • Experience in the medical industry
  • Experience in testing medical applications
  • ISTQB certification
  • Completed degree in an IT-related field
