Job summary

Teltonika Ltd. in Warsaw, Poland, is seeking a Senior/Mid Embedded Linux Software Engineer to join our developers' team. You will develop software for embedded Linux devices, solve cross-layer issues, and apply new technologies while collaborating with hardware teams.

The role emphasizes teamwork both locally and at our headquarters in Lithuania, with a hybrid working model and opportunities to work on industrial networking equipment for Industry 4.0, Smart City, and related sectors.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience coding for embedded devices, preferably Linux-based.
• 3+ years of C programming experience in embedded environments.
• 1+ years of experience with Linux OS (Buildroot/Yocto).
• Understanding of OS principles and networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for bare metal or embedded Linux devices.
• Solve complex issues across software and hardware layers.
• Analyze and apply new technologies to existing products.
• Collaborate with hardware teams and embedded systems.
• Work with the team locally and at the Lithuania HQ; provide technical support.

In this role, you will:

• Develop software for bare metal or embeddedLinuxdevices.

• Solve complex technical problems across software and hardware layers.

• Analyze and applynew technologies.

• Work closely with hardwarecomponents and embedded systems.

• Collaborate effectively in a team locally and in the head quarter in Lithuania.

• Provide technical support to team members.

What we expectofyou:

• 4+yearof experience writing code for embedded devices (advantage if the device(s) are Linux-based).

• 3+ years of C programmingexperience;(come together with embeddedskills).

• 1+years experienceworking with Linux OS (Buildroot/Yocto).

• Experience solving complex software and hardware-related issues.

• Understanding ofoperating system principles.

• Knowledge of computer networks.

Ideally,you’llalso have:

• Experience working with various embedded processors (SOCs/microcontrollers).

• Knowledge of electronics and experience with lab equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.).

• Shell programming experience.

• Experience with UART, SPI, I2C, USB.

• Experience withWiFi, Bluetooth.

• Experience with Linuxdrivers,bootloaders.

• Experience withOpenWRToperating system.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity.

• Good English language skills.
