Job summary

Teltonika in Warsaw, Poland, seeks a Senior/Mid Embedded Linux Software Engineer to join the developers’ team. You will develop software for embedded Linux devices, solve cross-layer problems, and work closely with hardware teams.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in embedded C, 1+ year with Linux, and knowledge of Buildroot/Yocto. The role offers hybrid work and collaboration with the Lithuania HQ.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of embedded development experience, preferably Linux-based devices.
• Strong C programming skills and knowledge of networking concepts.
• Experience with Linux Buildroot/Yocto and OpenWRT is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for bare metal or embedded Linux devices.

In this role, you will:

• Develop software for bare metal or embeddedLinuxdevices.
• Solve complex technical problems across software and hardware layers.
• Analyze and applynew technologies.
• Work closely with hardwarecomponents and embedded systems.
• Collaborate effectively in a team locally and in the head quarter in Lithuania.
• Provide technical support to team members.

What we expectofyou:

• 4+yearof experience writing code for embedded devices (advantage if the device(s) are Linux-based).
• 3+ years of C programmingexperience;(come together with embeddedskills).
• 1+years experienceworking with Linux OS (Buildroot/Yocto).
• Experience solving complex software and hardware-related issues.
• Understanding ofoperating system principles.
• Knowledge of computer networks.

Ideally,you’llalso have:

• Experience working with various embedded processors (SOCs/microcontrollers).
• Knowledge of electronics and experience with lab equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.).
• Shell programming experience.
• Experience with UART, SPI, I2C, USB.
• Experience withWiFi, Bluetooth.
• Experience with Linuxdrivers,bootloaders.
• Experience withOpenWRToperating system.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity.
• Good English language skills.
