Job summary

Worldline is seeking a Risk Specialist to support merchant monitoring and KYC/AML compliance. The role focuses on assessing merchant risk, ensuring regulatory alignment, and maintaining up-to-date KYC data while collaborating with global stakeholders.

You will report to the Merchant Monitoring Team Manager and contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within an open, global team based in Warsaw.

Qualifications

• You understand KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 4 years in a similar role within financial services (payments company or bank).
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Full working proficiency in English; Nordic languages are a plus.
• Ability to work with multiple computer systems/programs.

Responsibilities

• CDD: Review merchant profiles for regulatory compliance.
• Risk Assessment: Evaluate risk level based on business type, transaction volume, and location.
• Scheme compliance: Lookups in sanction list and Card Scheme databases.
• Documentation: Verify and request records of KYC activities and compliance-related documentation.
• Innovation: Contribute ideas for team and personal development.
• Ownership: Assess processes, identify gaps, implement improvements, and guide others.
