Job summary

Worldline in Warsaw is seeking a risk specialist to monitor merchants and ensure compliance with KYC/AML standards. You will conduct research, assess risk, and coordinate with stakeholders across regions to protect the company from illicit activities.

You will review merchant profiles, perform risk scoring, verify documentation, and contribute ideas for process improvements while staying up-to-date with regulatory developments and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role in financial services
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Fluency in English (written and oral)
• Nordic language skills are a plus
• Understanding of KYC/AML and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• CDD: review merchant profiles for regulatory and policy compliance
• Risk assessment: evaluate risk based on business type, volume, location
• Scheme compliance: check sanctions and card scheme databases
• Documentation: verify and request KYC records
• Innovation: suggest improvements to team processes
• Ownership: assess processes, identify gaps, implement improvements
• Training and awareness: stay updated on regulations and AML practices
