Job summary

Simon-Kucher is seeking a Senior Manager AI Engineering in Warsaw to lead multidisciplinary teams in designing and delivering enterprise AI solutions that drive real business value. You will combine AI expertise with people leadership, project delivery, and client advisory to scale AI across commercial functions.

You will mentor engineers and consultants, oversee AI architectures, and guide adoption of Agentic AI, LLM-based applications, and cloud-native platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, Software Engineering, or Applied AI.
• University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience leading technical projects and taking ownership of technical solutions.
• Strong in Python, including API development and integration patterns.
• Hands-on delivering LLM-based solutions (RAG, tool calling, and agentic workflows) with LangChain and/or LangGraph or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Production practices including testing, code reviews, CI/CD, observability, and operational support.
• Knowledge of Power Automate or similar workflow automation platforms.
• Consulting background or understanding of professional services delivery models.
• Experience with Azure ecosystem (AI Foundry, Container Apps, Functions).
• Clear English communication (C1+) and ability to align technical decisions with business constraints.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex AI transformation programs from strategy through enterprise deployment, ensuring successful delivery, client impact, and commercial outcomes.
• Manage and develop multidisciplinary teams of AI engineers, consultants, and client stakeholders while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Oversee the design and implementation of enterprise AI architectures, ensuring solutions align with business objectives and engineering standards.
• Guide teams in delivering modern AI solutions, including Agentic AI, LLM applications, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and cloud-native AI platforms.
• Translate business processes into AI-enabled operating models, prioritise high-value AI use cases, and ensure solutions deliver measurable business value.
• Ensure engineering excellence across AI delivery by promoting best practices in software engineering, MLOps, Responsible AI, governance, observability, and operational excellence.
• Advise senior client stakeholders on AI strategy, operating models, governance, and enterprise AI adoption.
• Drive capability development by mentoring team members, establishing engineering best practices, and fostering continuous learning across the AI Engineering team.
• Support business development by identifying new opportunities, shaping AI proposals, and expanding existing client relationships.

As a Senior Manager AI Engineering, you will lead multidisciplinary teams in designing and delivering enterprise AI solutions that create measurable business value. You will combine AI expertise with people leadership, project delivery, and client advisory to help organizations adopt and scale AI across their commercial functions. Working closely with business leaders, data scientists, engineers, and technology partners, you will drive AI transformation initiatives from strategy through implementation.

The salary for this position ranges from PLN 29 000 to PLN 31 800 gross per month under an employment contract (UoP), depending on the candidate’s relevant experience, skill set, level of expertise and overall fit for the role. Additional factors such as industry background, technical competencies and interview performance may also influence the final offer. The compensation package at Simon-Kucher CBS consists of a gross base salary, a monthly remote work allowance and an annual bonus. The bonus is paid in December and is based on the results of a 360-degree performance evaluation.
