Job summary

Simon-Kucher is looking for a Senior Inhouse Consultant Data & Analytics (SAP) in Poland. The role can be performed fully remotely within Poland and includes a base gross salary, a monthly remote work allowance, and an annual bonus.

You will own the SAP Data & Analytics landscape, lead development for SAP Data Cloud, and partner with stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions with a focus on governance and data quality.

Qualifications

• Extensive SAP Analytics experience, especially SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable qualification.
• Strong data modelling, architecture, and reporting skills including ETL/ELT.
• Experience defining BI strategies and governance models.
• Analytical, structured, self-driven working style.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in English; able to work with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the SAP Data & Analytics landscape, focusing on SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere.
• Manage the development pipeline for SAP Business Data Cloud requirements.
• Drive the Data & Analytics and BI strategy, including reporting and front-end tools.
• Ensure system availability, performance, and data quality.
• Design and optimize data architecture, models, and reporting structures.
• Oversee external service providers in day-to-day operations.
• Advise business units on reporting solutions and data governance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored data solutions.
• Establish governance frameworks and best practices in the SAP ecosystem.
• Identify innovations and new technologies within SAP Analytics.

In Poland - Warsaw

As Senior Inhouse Consultant Data & Analytics (SAP) you will be a part of the IT Business Services Team (ITBS). ITBS is a team that consists of service managers for different enterprise applications, e.g. our internal ERP system, HR system, travel tools and Global Service Desk. We are currently 10 team members with one Director. This role can be performed fully remotely within Poland.

The salary for this position ranges from PLN 25 00 to PLN 27 000 gross per month under an employment contract (UoP), depending on the candidate’s relevant experience, skill set, level of expertise and overall fit for the role. Additional factors such as industry background, technical competencies and interview performance may also influence the final offer. The compensation package at Simon-Kucher CBS consists of a gross base salary, a monthly remote work allowance and an annual bonus. The bonus is paid in December and is based on the results of a 360‑degree performance evaluation.

How You Will Create An Impact

• Take ownership of the stable operation and continuous enhancement of the Data & Analytics system landscape, with a focus on SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere
• Manage the development pipeline for SAP Business Data Cloud requirements
• Drive the development and implementation of the Data & Analytics and BI strategy (including reporting and frontend tools)
• Ensure system availability, performance, and data quality
• Design, operate and optimize data architecture, data models, and reporting structures
• Manage and oversee external service providers in day-to-day operations
• Advise business departments on the use and evolution of reporting and analytics solutions
• Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to develop tailored, innovative data solutions
• Establish, foster and further develop standards, governance frameworks, and best practices in the SAP BDC environment
• Identify and implement innovations and new technologies within the SAP Analytics ecosystem

Your Profile

• Several years of experience in operating and enhancing SAP Analytics solutions, especially SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable qualification.
• Strong expertise in data modeling, data architecture, and reporting, as well as ETL and ELT processes.
• Experience in defining and implementing BI strategies and governance models.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, self-driven working style.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills to assess complex situations, identify issues and root causes, evaluate options, and implement effective, data-driven solutions.
• Strong user orientation, with a focus on understanding user needs and ensuring applications meet their expectations, combined with the ability to collaborate effectively with different departments and stakeholders.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English to effectively communicate with international teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
