Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Senior Mainframe Support Engineer in Poland for delivering operational services to outsourcing accounts and minimizing unplanned downtime. The role is hybrid from Warsaw, Krakow, or Wroclaw, reporting to team management.

You will work closely with multiple teams, follow ITIL processes, and ensure documentation, training, and problem management activities are performed to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Primary requirement - CICS expertise.
• Minimum of 5+ years hands-on Mainframe knowledge.
• Fluent in English (B2).
• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MIS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Team Technology Lead, Account Support Team, and other support teams.
• Maintain deep understanding of the customer’s business, environment, and support processes.
• Follow ITIL standards and proactively address service issues.
• Maintain and update technical documentation and ensure internal standards compliance.
• Participate in quality and productivity projects and ensure process compliance.
• Provide technical consultation, training, and lead workshops; keep up with mandatory training.
• Conduct deep-level troubleshooting and participate in Root Cause Analysis.
• Plan changes and maintain CMDB; participate in advisory boards.
• Manage projects related to the responsible platform/technology.
