Hostinger seeks a Senior Localization Team Lead to guide a large in-house team and an on-demand freelancer network, shaping messages for every market. You’ll balance high ownership with data-driven decisions and partner across functions to ensure scalable, quality localization as Hostinger expands globally.

You’ll drive strategic initiatives, implement AI-assisted processes, and mentor teammates to deliver precise, culturally aware content across many languages.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in localization with leadership experience.
• Hands-on background as translator/editor/proofreader.
• Experience coordinating freelancers across markets.
• Strong analytics: quality scores, OKR trends, delivery data.
• Business-focused: tie localization to outcomes with actionable insights.
• Fluent with cross-functional stakeholders: Marketing, Product, Engineering.
• Proficient with CAT tools and AI platforms Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Localization Specialists with data-driven growth.
• Scale external freelancer network from sourcing to offboarding.
• Translate business goals into localization plans with market insights.
• Assess priorities against team capacity and market realities.
• Own complex localization challenges and AI-human review models.
• Identify quality issues, uncover root causes and drive improvements.
• Investigate performance anomalies and drive end-to-end resolutions.
• Pilot AI and localization tech with language owners to improve outcomes.
