Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join our Platform Infrastructure Team. You will rebasing our custom kernel patches for ARM and oversee pipeline creation to support ARM servers, ensuring stability and reproducible builds before production.

Responsibilities include owning kernel configuration and performance tuning for ARM hardware, performing code reviews for kernel patches, and migrating x86 patches to ARM for Debian environments, with a focus on robust

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in CS/engineering with strong kernel development experience.
• Deep Linux kernel experience and ARM architecture expertise.
• Proficiency in C and OS-level integrations.
• Experience with Debian-family internals and package management.
• Experience with virtualization (KVM/QEMU), preferably on ARM.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of kernel configuration and performance tuning for ARM hardware.
• Provide code reviews and cross-coverage for kernel patches.
• Migrate existing x86 kernel patches to ARM for Debian builds.
• Investigate integration issues in complex networking stacks.
