Job summary

GlobalLogic in Wroclaw, Poland, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for our Platform Infrastructure Team to rebase custom kernel patches for ARM, build pipelines, and ensure stable, reproducible results before production.

You will contribute to low-level Linux kernel work, Debian-family internals, and virtualization stacks (KVM/QEMU) on ARM, with a strong focus on performance tuning, reliability, and smooth integration of monitoring tools across the fleet.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Heavy experience in kernel development.
Deep Linux kernel expertise and ARM architecture experience.
Proficiency in C and OS-level integrations.
Experience with Debian-family internals and package management.
Experience with KVM/QEMU on ARM.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of kernel configuration and performance tuning for ARM hardware.
Provide code reviews and cross-coverage for kernel patches.
Migrate existing custom x86 kernel patches to ARM builds for Debian.
Investigate and mitigate architecture-specific integration issues, especially in complex networking stacks.
