Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking an experienced Senior SDET-Pipeline Engineer to work on kernel-level OS validation, CI/CD automation, and Debian package qualification for ARM-based hardware platforms. You will join a team focused on solving low-level testing challenges and automating end-to-end build, test, and deployment workflows.

You will collaborate with kernel and platform engineers to ensure stability and production-readiness of Linux builds, with emphasis on bare-metal deployments and QEMU/KVM

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software testing and infrastructure automation in Linux environments.
• Deep knowledge of Linux/Debian internals, services, and troubleshooting.
• Designing and maintaining reproducible build and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Bash and Python for automation and tooling.
• Experience deploying and validating software on bare-metal Linux environments.
• Understanding of systemd units and service validation.
• Great English communication, minimum B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain reproducible build pipelines for ARM Linux kernel and Debian packages.
• Adapt build/qualification processes for new ARM hardware platform.
• Validate OS components, including systemd units and monitoring tools.
• Develop Bash- and Python-based automation for build, deployment, and validation.
• Deploy builds to bare-metal labs and run extensive qualification tests for hardware stability and QEMU/KVM.
