Job summary

Uvation is seeking a Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, operate and troubleshoot large-scale Linux-based infrastructure powering traditional enterprise workloads and AI/ML environments. This role emphasizes hands-on hardware, BMaaS, GPU clusters, HPC and data-center operations.

You will own lifecycle management of servers, storage, networking and AI-ready platforms, collaborating with teams to optimize performance, reliability, and security in scalable GPU-enabled

Qualifications

• Expert-level Linux administration (Ubuntu required; Red Hat and SUSE preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Bare Metal as a Service (BMaaS).
• Proven experience in GPU-accelerated infrastructure for AI/ML workloads.
• Strong storage skills: LVM, XFS, EXT4, NFS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, multipath I/O.
• Ceph cluster architecture, MON/OSD/MDS, RBD, CephFS, RGW; capacity planning and tuning.
• Familiarity with high-performance networking and data-center fabrics (100G+/400G).
• Experience with HPC environments and AI Factory architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, operate and troubleshoot large-scale Linux infrastructure.
• Manage BMaaS platforms and bare metal provisioning lifecycle.
• Deploy and manage GPU-accelerated infrastructure for AI/ML workloads.
• Oversee enterprise storage and high-availability clustering; disaster recovery.
• Monitor and optimize HPC, GPU clusters, and network performance.
• Create runbooks and infrastructure standards; contribute to architecture decisions.
