Job summary

Optiveum is seeking a Senior IT/Business Analyst to support complex card transformation initiatives in an international banking context. You will translate business needs into clear requirements and drive end-to-end delivery, working in a hybrid setup with 75% remote work and locations in Warsaw or Gdańsk.

You will leverage Jira/Confluence and approved AI tools to accelerate analysis and documentation, ensuring traceability, test readiness, and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience owning complex business, functional, and non-functional requirements across the full solution delivery lifecycle.
• Experience with requirements elicitation, process and system analysis, impact assessment, traceability, acceptance criteria, and solution validation.
• Hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence to manage requirements, decisions, dependencies, and delivery documentation.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools to support analysis, documentation, summarization, or insight generation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Senior IT Analyst

Location: Warsaw or Gdańsk (Hybrid model, 75% remote)

Salary: up to 115 PLN/h (B2B)

Contract: B2B cooperation agreement signed directly with Optiveum

For one of our Clients from the banking sector, we are looking for an experienced Senior IT/Business Analyst.
In this role, you will support complex card transformation initiatives in an international environment. Please note that Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party for this position, meaning you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end analysis across complex card transformation initiatives, translating business objectives into clear, prioritized, and implementable business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

• Own requirements quality and traceability from initial discovery through solution design, development, testing, migration, and post-implementation validation.

• Facilitate structured workshops and decision-making with business, product, architecture, development, testing, operations, and migration stakeholders.

• Perform current-state, target-state, gap, and impact analyses across processes, systems, integrations, data, and affected card portfolios.

• Contribute to target solution design, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, regulatory obligations, and scheme requirements (e.g., Mastercard, Visa).

• Define acceptance criteria and support test planning, defect clarification, migration readiness, and validation.

• Identify dependencies, assumptions, risks, and requirement gaps early, providing clear recommendations.

• Use approved AI and generative AI tools to accelerate requirements analysis, feature refinement, documentation, and quality reviews.

• Identify and shape valuable AI-enabled improvements to analysis and delivery practices.

Your experience and background:

• Several years of relevant experience as a Senior IT Analyst, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a comparable role within banking, payments, or another regulated, technology-intensive environment.

• Proven experience owning complex business, functional, and non-functional requirements across the full solution delivery lifecycle.

• Strong experience with requirements elicitation, process and system analysis, impact assessment, traceability, acceptance criteria, and solution validation.

• Experience working across large transformation programs with multiple systems, markets, vendors, and stakeholder groups.

• Hands‑on experience using Jira and Confluence to manage requirements, decisions, dependencies, and delivery documentation.

• Hands‑on experience using approved generative AI tools to support analysis, documentation, summarization, or insight generation is advantageous.

• Understanding of responsible AI practices in a regulated environment (data privacy, information security, transparency, human oversight).

• Ability to work effectively in SAFe or another agile delivery model.

• Professional proficiency in English and Polish, with strong written, presentation, and facilitation skills.

• Knowledge of card lifecycle management, payment management, card servicing, migration, or Mastercard/Visa scheme requirements is highly advantageous.
