Sopra Steria Polska is seeking a Senior UNIX Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automation for large-scale Linux environments in Katowice. You will develop automation platforms and lifecycle operations using Ansible, AAP, GitLab, and scripting languages.

The role requires strong Linux administration, IaC and CI/CD experience, and a collaborative mindset in a multinational environment. Occasional travel to client sites and visits to the Katowice office are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux/Unix system administration experience in enterprise-scale infrastructure.
• Hands-on with Ansible, AAP, Red Hat Satellite, EfficientIP, Python, Bash, GitLab, CFEngine.
• Solid experience with IaC and CI/CD; agile cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain automation for large-scale Unix/Linux environments.
• Build and enhance IaC solutions using Ansible, AAP, GitLab, Python, and Bash.
• Provide 3rd-level support for automation platforms and Unix systems; troubleshoot issues.
