Job summary

ABB in Kraków seeks an automation-focused engineer to design, develop and operate automation solutions based on Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. You will automate IT processes, improve service reliability and boost operational efficiency across Information Systems.

You will act as a technical expert and trusted advisor, collaborating with Infrastructure Teams, Application Owners, Service Management and Security.

Qualifications

• Experience with Ansible and AAP playbooks, roles, inventories.
• Automation, DevOps or infrastructure operations experience.
• Strong Python, Linux, Windows, networking knowledge.
• Version control with Git and automation best practices.
• Excellent communication across cross-functional teams in English.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of the service.
• Identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Review requirements and identify actions within scope.
• Install and test new versions and coordinate resolution of issues.
