Job summary

Siemens Gamesa is seeking a seasoned commercial lawyer to join the Wind Power Legal & Compliance Offshore division. You will draft and negotiate high-value offshore wind contracts, including turbine supply and service agreements, and provide strategic legal support across the project lifecycle.

You will lead negotiations, manage legal risk, and collaborate with cross-functional and international teams. A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience and fluent English are required;

Qualifications

• Qualified as a lawyer (Advokat) with bar membership and a Master’s degree in Law.
• Around 5+ years of post-qualification experience as a commercial lawyer, in-house or private practice.
• Experience in energy, construction or infrastructure sectors; wind/offshore experience is a strong plus.
• Strong skills in contract drafting and negotiation, including FIDIC contracts, with sound legal risk management and business acumen.
• Collaborative team player in an international, diverse environment with willingness to engage with stakeholders across many countries.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate high-value, complex commercial contracts for offshore wind projects, including turbine supply and service agreements.
• Provide legal advice and support throughout the project lifecycle, from bidding and development to execution.
• Lead contractual negotiations with customers and partners to secure favorable terms and mitigate commercial risk.
• Identify, analyze and advise on legal and contractual risks, ensuring compliance with international and national laws and governance policies within the project context.
• Act as a trusted legal advisor to senior management, delivering legal training to business teams and supporting claims resolution (mediation/arbitration when required).
• Contribute to internal initiatives such as developing standard contract templates and legal guidance for the Wind Power Offshore business.
