Job summary

Voyagu Group is seeking a Lead Accountant / Accounting Manager to take ownership of the accounting function as the group grows. This hands-on role partners with the CFO and leadership to build a reliable financial foundation and improve accounting processes.

The successful candidate will have deep IFRS/US GAAP experience, strong ownership, and the ability to drive month-end close with minimal supervision while communicating clearly with executives and external advisors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on accounting experience with GL and month-end close
• Strong IFRS and/or US GAAP understanding
• Full balance sheet ownership with reconciliations
• End-to-end accounting across GL, P&L and Balance Sheet
• Experience with multiple legal entities and intercompany transactions
• Hands-on, independent: review transactions and close books
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP or similar)
• Strong ownership and professional judgment; proactive problem solving
• Excellent English communication with stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Own general ledger accounting and ensure accurate financial records.
• Manage the monthly close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain Balance Sheet and P&L reporting; investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment and maintain supporting docs.
• Review and supervise accounting work; drive process improvements.
• Manage intercompany accounting, balances and reconciliations.
• Take ownership of accounting issues; liaise with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with FP&A to explain GL balances and resolve discrepancies.
