Job summary

emagine is seeking a Group Finance professional to tackle cross-border GL issues, drive root-cause analysis, and ensure lasting fixes with clear ownership. You will engage with reconciliations, data and transactions to resolve complex financial challenges efficiently.

Ideal candidates have solid experience in external audit, financial controlling, or accounting, and are proficient in GL accounting, month-end close, and reconciliations, with strong Excel and ERP systems skills and experience

Qualifications

• Experience in external audit, financial controlling, accounting or a similar finance role.
• You know GL accounting, balance sheets, month-end close and reconciliations well.
• You can trace reported balances back to transactions and documents.
• You're strong in Excel and data analysis, and comfortable with ERP systems.
• Experience across several entities or countries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Get hands-on: take ownership of selected accounting, reconciliation, close or process issues.
• Strengthen GL quality: run sample reviews of reconciliations and key controls with local teams.
• Improve processes: simplify and standardise GL processes across countries, while respecting real local needs.
• Lead cross-country projects: take on investigations that don't sit with one country team.
• Help GL scale: spot patterns behind recurring problems and help decide who should own the fix.
