Job summary

Luxoft Poland is expanding its Java engineering team to build a strategic reference data platform for a global bank. The role involves taking ownership of key projects, developing and deploying solutions across the SDLC, and collaborating with a global, diverse team including BAs, Prod Support, and infra teams.

You will work on high-impact components, improve performance and scalability, and provide level-3 support when needed. Poland-based candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• At least 7+ years of experience with Java.
• Experience/understanding with the following technologies: Java (Core, JDBC, MT, Collections, I/O), Spring Boot.
• SQL.PL-SQL on Oracle DB.
• Container platform based on Kubernetes.
• REST web services, Kafka, Redis.
• Unix Commands and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with standard data structures and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned development projects within agreed schedule, quality and scope expectations.
• Participate in all stages of SDLC within an agile Scrum environment.
• Form partnership with technology vendors and gain deep understanding of products.
• Enhance/Re-architect existing components to satisfy new requirements in terms of performance and scalability.
• Provide level 3 (escalation) support for the application.

Responsibilities

Candidate will be responsible for building out the firm’s strategic reference data platforms to serve businesses within client company. The successful applicant will take ownership of key projects and components and will be responsible for all phases of SDLC including analysis and design, development, testing and deployment. As a developer, the candidate will be responsible for developing & deploying technical solution following engineering excellence standards. A potential candidate will need to understand system and enterprise architecture concepts and will be expected to understand how all components fir together and impact one another. They will work with a global and diverse team of peers as well as liaise closely with Business Analyst, Production Support, and infrastructure teams.
