Job summary

ING Hubs Poland in Katowice seeks an experienced Engineer III/IV to design and develop robust full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot and modern CI/CD pipelines.

You will improve architecture for scalability, reliability and production readiness, champion automated testing and resilient deployments while collaborating across teams in English.

Qualifications

• MSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production-grade software.
• Strong foundations in algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and concurrency.
• Hands-on Java, Spring Boot, Git, and SQL.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture and container technologies (Docker, OpenShift).
• Experience with automation, CI/CD pipelines, deployment tools.
• Excellent English communication.
• Experience in front-end development.

We are looking for you, if you have:

• MSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience,
• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production-grade software,
• Strong foundations in algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and concurrency,
• Proven ability to build modular, testable, and maintainable systems,
• Hands‑on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Git, and SQL,
• Knowledge of Micro-Services architecture, container technologies: Docker, OpenShift,
• Experience and understanding of (test) automation, continuous delivery, deployment tools and pipelines,
• Strong analytical thinking and a problem-solving mindset,
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Experience in front-end development.
