Job summary

ING Hubs Poland in Warsaw seeks an experienced engineer to design and develop robust full‑stack applications, improve architecture, and drive scalability across production systems. The role, named Engineer III or Engineer IV in ING's global architecture, requires strong Java, Spring Boot, and SQL skills, plus familiarity with microservices, containers (Docker/OpenShift), and automated CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• MSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years building and maintaining production-grade software.
• Strong foundations in algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and concurrency.
• Proven ability to build modular, testable, and maintainable systems.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Git, and SQL.
• Knowledge of Micro-Services architecture, container technologies: Docker, OpenShift,
• Experience and understanding of (test) automation, continuous delivery, deployment tools and pipelines.
• Strong analytical thinking and a problem-solving mindset.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Experience in front-end development.
