Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Elasticsearch Security team. You will contribute to architecture and design of core features including authentication, authorization, and tenant isolation.

You will work with engineering and product leaders to deliver high-performance security at scale, focusing on secure distributed storage and robust access controls across multi-tenant environments.

Competenze

• Deep knowledge of Java internals and JVM memory management.
• Experience building scalable authorization systems under high concurrency.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems security and data isolation.
• Knowledge of edge identity protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML).

Mansioni

• Contribute to architecture and production delivery of new security features.
• Design and implement major security components inside Elasticsearch core engine.
• Develop foundational security models for features and ensure performance at scale.
• Collaborate to embed security into new customer features from the start.
• Drive vulnerability management with the InfoSec team and audits.
