Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Senior Information Security Infrastructure Engineer to protect our data and systems. You will own the end-to-end pipeline from new security data sources to ingestion, indices, and availability, ensuring healthy Elastic clusters and scalable security telemetry processing.

You will work with Terraform, Kubernetes, and AI tooling to automate and stabilize security operations, with focus on data quality, cost discipline, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Elastic and Elasticsearch in production environments.
• Proven ability to use AI to accelerate development while owning outcomes.
• Kubernetes deployment and operation of workloads; troubleshooting pods.
• Terraform to manage cloud and Elasticsearch resources.

Responsibilities

• Security telemetry ingestion - build and maintain ingestion of security-relevant data into Elasticsearch.
• Keep the Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes clusters healthy; monitor and upgrade.
• Use Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure and Elasticsearch resources.
• Use AI automation to reduce toil and improve operations.
• Data quality and reliability - ensure data flows correctly and monitor costs.
