Job summary

Jit Team in Poland invites a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join a fast-growing tech area. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for backend microservices, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines, helping ensure rapid, reliable releases across a large-scale platform.

You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers in a hybrid setup based in Poznań or Warsaw, applying Java, JUnit, TestNG, and REST Assured to build robust automation frameworks and drive

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer / Test Automation Engineer.
• Commercial experience in backend test automation.
• Strong knowledge of Java.
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, REST Assured or similar.
• Experience with REST API testing.
• Practical knowledge of Postman.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Experience working with microservices architecture.
• Good knowledge of Git.
• Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot issues.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable test automation code.
• English at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites
• Creating test scenarios and test cases based on business and technical requirements
• Performing manual, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
• Testing REST APIs and microservices-based applications
• Analyzing test results and reporting defects
• Collaborating closely with Developers, Product Managers, and QA Engineers
• Participating in sprint planning, refinements, and release activities
• Supporting and improving CI/CD pipelines used in testing processes
• Ensuring high software quality standards throughout the SDLC
• Identifying quality risks and proposing process improvements
• Contributing to the continuous evolution of QA best practices within the team
