Job summary

Jit Team is seeking a QA Tester to contribute to testing of business-critical applications within an Agile environment. You will design and execute manual test scenarios, collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders, and help improve testing standards and processes.

You will work on API testing, verify integration points, and support UAT. The role emphasizes independent learning, meticulousness, and teamwork across distributed teams, with remote or hybrid options from Poland.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Experience creating test scenarios, test cases, and test documentation.
• Hands-on testing: functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Ability to learn and understand complex business applications.
• Experience in defect reporting and test documentation.
• Familiarity with test management tools; Azure DevOps is a plus.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman; SoapUI is an advantage).
• Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger standards.
• English proficiency for technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain test scenarios, cases, and checklists based on requirements.
• Analyze documents, explore applications, and collaborate with teams to understand tested solutions.
• Prepare and maintain test data for testing activities.
• Perform manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Support UAT processes.
• Conduct API-related integration tests and verify system communications.
• Document test results and report defects with reproduction steps.
• Re-test resolved defects and verify fixes.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and business users; external vendors as needed.
• Contribute to testing standards, templates, and best practices.
