Job summary

Jit Team is seeking a senior QA Automation Engineer to join a hybrid role in Poznań / Warsaw. You will design, build, and maintain automated tests for microservices, REST APIs, and backend systems, ensuring high quality through CI/CD integration and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and QA Engineers in an agile environment, shaping QA standards and automation practices across the project.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as QA Automation Engineer / Test Automation Engineer.
• Commercial backend test automation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java.
• Hands-on with testing frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, REST Assured or similar.
• Experience with REST API testing and Postman.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with microservices and Git.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to write clean, scalable automation code.
• English at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites.
• Create test scenarios and test cases from requirements.
• Perform manual, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Test REST APIs and microservices-based applications.
• Analyze results and report defects.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and QA Engineers.
• Participate in sprint planning and release activities.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines used in testing.
• Ensure quality standards throughout the SDLC.
• Identify quality risks and propose improvements.
• Contribute to QA best practices.
