Job summary

First Advantage Global operating Centre in Kraków, Poland, is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a hybrid team. You will build and maintain automated test suites for UI and API, strengthen CI/CD pipelines, and ensure our distributed SaaS ecosystem remains robust, scalable, and reliable.

The role is hands-on, collaborative, and focused on continuous improvement, with responsibilities spanning manual and automated testing, defect reporting, test plan creation, and ensuring acceptance

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in QA automation or test engineering.
• Familiarity with writing test cases, test plans, and defect documentation.
• Understanding of functional testing, regression testing, and user-flow validation.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation.
• Understanding of WebdriverIO and/or Playwright.
• Proven ability to automate UI, API, and integration scenarios.
• Familiar with BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases for UI, API, and end-to-end user workflows.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and user-impacting defects.
• Document clear, reproducible bug reports and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Validate business requirements and user acceptance criteria through hands-on testing.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for UI, API, microservices, and integration layers.
• Contribute to scalable, reusable automation frameworks stored in GitHub.
• Create validations for distributed systems, service-to-service interactions, queues, and API contracts.
