Job summary

Luxoft Poland in Kraków seeks an experienced back-end developer to join a long-term enterprise project in investment banking. You will build and evolve mission-critical services using Java 11+ and Spring Boot, collaborating with architects, QA, DevOps, and product owners.

You will design distributed microservices, implement REST and SOAP APIs, and enable event-driven processing with Kafka. The role emphasizes security, scalability, and maintainability in a cloud-enabled, containerized

Qualifications

• 7+ years enterprise backend development experience.
• Strong Java/Spring Boot with microservices.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud.
• Experience with OAuth2/JWT/Spring Security.
• Experience with BPM engines (Flowable).
• Experience with Kafka and data stores.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade backend services.
• Contribute to the design and evolution of distributed microservices architectures.
• Implement REST and SOAP APIs and event-driven solutions using Kafka.
• Develop BPM workflows using a BPM engine (Flowable).
• Ensure high standards of code quality with SOLID, Clean Code and patterns.
• Write and maintain unit/integration tests (JUnit/TestNG/Mockito/WireMock).
• Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Collaborate with DevOps on Docker/Kubernetes deployments.
• Provide technical guidance, perform code reviews, and advocate best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, product owners).
