Job summary

EPAM Systems in Poland is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join an AI platform team within the Investment Banking domain, serving internal clients. You will develop and maintain Java applications, collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business analysts to build scalable cloud-native solutions.

The role requires 8+ years in Java, Spring Boot, API development, and Azure. You will work in a flex-hybrid environment (3 days in the office) and contribute to microservices, CI/CD,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Java.
• Proficiency in Java 18+ and Spring Boot.
• API development with RESTful APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Databases and ORM: PostgreSQL, Oracle, Hibernate/JPA.
• CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
• Azure cloud platform experience.
• Monitoring/logging: Prometheus and Splunk.
• Testing: JUnit, TestNG, Mockito/JBehave.
• Messaging/integration: Kafka and REST.
• Security: OAuth2, JWT, Spring Security.
• Microservice architecture and DevOps practices.
• English: Upper-Intermediate (B2+) or higher.
