GFT Poland is seeking a Senior Java Engineer with PostgreSQL to join a hybrid team in Kraków. You will design backend services in Java/Spring Boot, build microservices, and drive data integration with PostgreSQL and Kafka.

The role focuses on cloud-native Azure deployments, Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern CI/CD with GitLab. Strong Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3+ experience is required, along with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Databricks exposure.

Salary range: 14600 - 22300 PLN gross

What will you do?

You will work on large-scale financial services platforms supporting investment banking operations. The role focuses on digital transformation, process automation, data integration, and application modernization in a highly regulated environment while leveraging modern cloud technologies, microservices, and AI engineering tools.

Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot
Build and maintain microservices-based solutions
Develop and optimize integrations with PostgreSQL and Kafka
Design and manage cloud-native solutions on Azure
Implement and maintain Kubernetes and Terraform infrastructure
Create and improve CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
Develop automated tests and ensure software quality
