Job summary
IG Group in Kraków is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java) to join the Client Platform. The role is hybrid, three days a week in Kraków, focusing on AI-assisted coding, testing, and deployment, with ownership across design to production.
You will drive automation, improve observability, and work with security and compliance to safely integrate AI tools in the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proven backend software engineering experience in Java or similar.
- Strong practice of test-driven development and pair programming.
- Experience with building production-ready features and ownership.
- Interest in automating coding, testing, and deployment processes using AI tools.
- Familiarity with Jira/Confluence APIs and CI/CD workflows.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain internal tooling that embeds AI into engineering work.
- Contribute to observability in the AI-assisted pipeline.
- Identify and automate manual steps in coding, testing, and release processes.
- Split work into small, releasable pieces and ship continuously.
- Collaborate with product, security, and compliance to ensure safe AI adoption.
