Job summary

BBH Poland is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join the Capital Partners engineering team in Kraków. You will design and develop core platforms and microservices-based systems supporting BBH’s Capital Partners business, including a full-stack wealth management app with frontend, backend and mobile components.

As part of a cross-functional team, you’ll participate in innovative development and modernization within an Agile framework, driving quality, security, and performance across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Java experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong Spring/Spring Boot, REST API development and backend services.
• Proficient in microservices architecture and clean code principles.
• Solid ORM/SQL skills and query optimization knowledge.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and SDLC best practices.
• Experience with unit/integration testing (JUnit, Mockito).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications with a focus on scalable microservices.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, applying design patterns and best practices.
• Ensure performance, reliability, security, and maintainability aligned with SDLC.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues.
• Enhance and support CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment.
• Drive continuous process improvements with ownership and accountability.
