Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman in Kraków is recruiting a Technical Leader for our Data Transformation Technology team. You will architect, design and implement low-code/no-code applications that form the business process fabric for BBH business teams.

You will guide a technical team, drive architectures, and foster CI/CD pipelines, with hybrid work 3 days in the office and 2 days for parents. Ideal candidates have 2+ years as a Java developer, strong English communication, and deep knowledge of Spring,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience as a Java Developer with contributions to system design and architecture.
• Excellent communication skills and working English proficiency.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for test and build automation.
• Strong knowledge of databases, web frameworks, enterprise integrations (queue, pub-sub, REST).
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Core tech stack: Spring, SQL, Hibernate, Kafka; cloud tech familiarity and OpenShift/Docker/Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Develop application code and automated tests for a distributed computing system.
• Conduct code reviews for team members.
• Communicate efficiently within and outside the team.
• Contribute to architecture and design discussions and uphold standards.
• Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to junior members.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automation efforts.
• Assist in hiring qualified personnel.
