Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking an experienced backend engineer to join a long-term, enterprise-scale project in Kraków. You will design, develop, and maintain mission-critical Java 11+ services using Spring Boot within a distributed microservices environment.

Collaborating with architects, QA, DevOps, and product owners, you will drive technical direction, implement REST/SOAP APIs, Kafka events, BPM workflows, and robust security with OAuth2/JWT. Hybrid work model applies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise backend development.
• Strong Java 11+ and Spring Boot expertise.
• Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven patterns.
• Proficient in relational and document databases.
• Security expertise: OAuth2/JWT/Spring Security.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise backend services with Java 11+ and Spring Boot.
• Shape distributed microservices architectures.
• Integrate REST and SOAP APIs and Kafka events.
• Develop BPM workflows using Flowable.
• Ensure code quality via SOLID, Clean Code, and patterns.
• Write unit/integration tests (JUnit/TestNG/Mockito/WireMock).
• Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cosmos DB.
• Implement OAuth2/JWT/Spring Security authentication.
• Collaborate with DevOps on Docker and Kubernetes deployments.
• Provide technical guidance and code reviews.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product owners.
