Job summary

DCG is seeking an experienced backend engineer to develop server-side applications within the Fraud Management domain. You will collaborate in a Scrum team to design and maintain scalable services.

You'll work with Java, Spring Boot, and messaging systems like Apache Kafka, building near real-time data pipelines while ensuring high performance and robust integration patterns.

Strong English skills and the ability to document designs and solutions are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in server-side Java development (Java, Spring Boot, SOAP/REST).
• Experience with performance analysis, profiling, and optimization.
• Hands-on with microservices and integration patterns.
• Experience with messaging technologies, notably Apache Kafka.
• Relational databases and SQL knowledge (Oracle or similar).
• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Document designs and technical solutions

Requirements:

• Strong experience in server-side Java development, including Java, Spring Boot, and Web Services (SOAP/REST)
• Proven experience with performance analysis, profiling, and optimization
• Hands-on experience with microservices and integration patterns
• Practical experience with messaging technologies, particularly Apache Kafka
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL (Oracle or similar)
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases
• Experience with Redis
• Hands-on experience with containers on Kubernetes
• Knowledge of AWS PaaS services, such as AWS Lambda
