Société Générale in Warsaw invites a Senior Java Backend Developer to build and maintain backend solutions for structured finance applications, liquidity calculations and regulatory reporting. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of information systems used by Corporate and Investment Banking.

The role collaborates with business users, analysts and IT teams in Paris and Warsaw, and involves delivering product increments, supporting release processes, and ensuring security,

Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant experience in Java backend development.
• Experience with Spring & Spring Boot frameworks.
• Proficient in Jenkins and Maven.
• Comfortable with relational databases and SQL.
• Fluent in English; Polish or French would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Developing code by applying Software Craftsmanship best practices and quality standards.
• Understanding business requirements and defining technical solutions.
• Regularly delivering product increments.
• Collaborating with Paris development team (remotely).
• Supporting release processes and L1/L2/L3 production fixes.
• Participating in Agile ceremonies and BD D practices.
• Providing technical analysis, effort estimation and risk assessment.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
