Job summary

Societe Générale in Warsaw is expanding its Global Business Solution Center, seeking an IT Manager for C# development to lead a talented team delivering advanced trading and deal processing applications used globally.

You will combine hands-on C#/.NET expertise with people management in an international setting, coordinating with stakeholders across France, Poland, Romania and India to ensure high-quality delivery and team growth.

Qualifications

• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in people management and leading software development teams.
• You have strong hands-on experience in C# and the .NET ecosystem (7+ years) with backend design and maintenance.
• You understand financial markets and banking ops, including debit/credit and trading floor environments.
• You have deep knowledge of relational databases and backend architecture, with exposure to frontend tech.
• You have proven experience with the full SDLC and development activities.
• You are experienced in Agile, TDD, and CI/CD practices.
• You demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• You are proficient in English; knowledge of French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing a team of C# developers through supporting team members in their professional development and career progression.
• Organizing team workload, identifying priorities, and overseeing delivery commitments.
• Ensuring best practices in development processes.
• Acting as a key point of contact for the team for interactions with business stakeholders and global counterparts.
• Contributing to code reviews, troubleshooting, handling technical escalations and ensuring critical deliveries.
• Driving all stages of the SDLC, from business requirements analysis to production delivery.
• Ensuring code quality through robust testing strategies and production support processes.
• Ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
