Job summary

VM.pl sp. z o.o is seeking aSenior Java Developer (Backend) for a remote or Wrocław-based role on a B2B contract. You will work on a multi-tenant, cloud-native compliance SaaS with Flowable BPMN embedded in Spring Boot, securing data localization, integrity, and GDPR compliance.

Ideal candidates bring Java 21, Spring Boot 3, Flowable experience, and strong PostgreSQL skills. Remote work with a Wrocław office option, English and German beneficial, and a project duration of 11–15 weeks.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of commercial Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Security and Spring Data JPA.
• Experience with BPMN workflow engines such as Flowable or Camunda.
• Experience embedding a workflow engine and multi-tenant data access model.
• Very good PostgreSQL knowledge including performance and security.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Practical knowledge of OpenAPI or Swagger and the specification-first approach.
• Experience creating integration tests with Testcontainers.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and PR processes.
• Fluent English and Polish communication.

Responsibilities

• Implement BPMN processes in Flowable for EPOC workflows.
• Configure Flowable as a library within Spring Boot with shared transactions.
• Build a multi-tenant data layer and enforce tenant isolation.
• Create ArchUnit tests to prevent cross-tenant data access.
• Develop REST APIs for case creation, status checks and uploads.
• Design API contracts using an OpenAPI-first approach.
• Integrate platform with telecom operators’ CRMs via adapters.
• Implement JWT validation and RBAC with Keycloak/OIDC.
• Handle document storage with S3 Object Lock and GDPR holds.
• Create integration tests with JUnit 5 and Testcontainers.
• Participate in architecture reviews and document ADRs.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools with mandatory human review.
