Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a backend developer to design, implement, and maintain Java 11+ services within a microservices stack. The role focuses on migrating on-prem systems to Microsoft Azure, building REST APIs, and deploying containerized apps on AKS. You will work with Terraform for IaC, GitLab/GitHub CI/CD, and AI-assisted development tools.

The project emphasizes scalability, performance, and observability in a modern cloud environment, with hybrid work arrangements (3 days/week in Kraków).

Qualifications

• Strong OOP with Java 11+.
• Extensive Spring Boot experience.
• REST API and message-driven services.
• Containerized apps in cloud.
• Azure IaC with Terraform.
• AKS and Kubernetes experience.
• CI/CD with GitLab or GitHub.
• AI-assisted development tools knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Java 11+.
• Build RESTful APIs and message-driven services.
• Deploy cloud-native apps on Azure (AKS).
• Use Terraform for IaC.
• Work with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate with Kafka, IBM MQ, Tibco EMS.
• Collaborate on scalable, resilient distributed architecture.
• Develop and optimize DB interactions (Azure SQL, Oracle, Sybase).
• Write unit/integration/e2E tests.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability.
