Job summary

Solid Company in Kraków, Poland, is hiring for a Java-focused engineer to help develop an internal IT Automation Portal. You will design features with a strong UX, build scalable data infrastructure, and maintain secure, reliable services across teams.

The role requires expert Java/SpringBoot skills, Kubernetes/Docker experience, and a solid background in API standards, microservices and CI/CD. Hybrid work with regular office presence in Cracow is offered.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Java/Spring Boot, strong Kubernetes and Docker experience.
• Hands-on with tools like HashiCorp Vault, GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, Maven, Groovy, Ansible.
• Deep understanding of API standards (REST, Swagger/OpenAPI3.0, OAuth2), microservices and Kong API Gateway.
• Solid Agile background (Scrum, TDD) and experience in CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong monitoring/alerting experience (AppDynamics, Splunk) and good knowledge of Linux, networks, storage.
• Up-to-date on cloud security and data protection regulations.
• Ownership of engineering quality, with a drive to innovate and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Design and build software with a strong focus on user experience and sharing best practices.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards while delivering scalable data infrastructure.
• Develop internal and external applications with usability and intuitive interfaces.
• Implement robust security measures across systems and services.
• Automate processes to deliver high-quality code and data.
• Support incident resolution as part of the DevOps team and ensure service resilience.
