Aimlroles in Kraków is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, integrate and support enterprise Java microservices within an AI-enabled SDLC. You will work with architects, QA, SRE, and platform teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Python development in enterprise-scale environments.
• Good practical knowledge of Java and Spring Boot for microservices.
• Experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL databases and SQL.
• Solid unit and integration testing with JUnit/Mockito/Testcontainers.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins or GitLab, and security reviews.
• Familiarity with GenAI tools, LLM concepts, and RAG patterns.
• Experience designing REST APIs and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, release, and support Java microservices and related components.
• Contribute to solution design and integration patterns per target architecture.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and delivery blockers early.
• Follow engineering standards, CI/CD practices, and quality gates.
• Deliver robust unit, integration, and contract testing.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and security reviews.
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools and GenAI development practices.
• Build production-ready services with observability and reliability.
• Support releases, integrations, and environment readiness.
• Collaborate across engineering, architecture, QA, platform, and operations.
