Job summary

DCG is seeking an experienced Java/Spring developer to upgrade and maintain Java applications for savings and investments products. You will work with PostgreSQL, JMS/MQ, OpenAPI, and modern Spring/Hibernate stacks to deliver reliable backend services.

You will participate in the full development cycle including design, testing, deployment, and collaboration with financial analysts to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• Very good command of English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade applications to Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.3.x baseline.
• Design, develop and maintain Java applications supporting savings and investments products.
• Build calculation engines ensuring compliance with tax regulations across multiple countries.
• Develop solutions supporting complex business processes, tax authority integrations and customer-facing reporting.
• Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with financial analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Java and Spring Boot upgrade projects
• Strong proficiency in Java 21 and Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and SQL
• Practical knowledge of messaging technologies such as JMS, MQ or similar
• Strong understanding of Java frameworks including Spring and Hibernate
• Experience with relational databases and SQL-based development
• Knowledge of OpenAPI and AsyncAPI for producing and consuming data
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles

Very good command of English, both spoken and written
