Job summary

Paessler GmbH in Kraków is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead strategic procurement, develop a compact team, and negotiate with national and international suppliers, with a focus on cost, quality and risk. You will collaborate with IT, product development, quality and product management, bringing fresh ideas on automation and AI-driven sourcing while maintaining compliance and high performance.

Qualifications

7+ years of professional procurement leadership experience.
Entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on approach and drive for innovation.
Degree in business, finance, supply chain management or similar, or comparable qualification.
Fluency in German and English (business level).
Experience in IT procurement and supplier networks.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and inspire a two-person procurement team.
Design and implement a forward-looking procurement strategy aligned with company objectives.
Optimize procurement processes using digitalization, standardization, and automation.
Own supplier risk management and supplier development initiatives.
Conduct negotiations and establish framework agreements with national and international suppliers.
Partner with IT, Product Development, Quality, and Product Management.
Ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct and legal/regulatory requirements.
