Job summary

Algoteque is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to join a banking project focused on corporate banking systems. The role combines business and technical analysis, requirements gathering, process modelling, and testing while collaborating with business owners and cross-functional IT teams.

You will support development and integration of custom IT applications, with one day onsite per month. The position is long-term and offers an international work environment and a collaborative atmosphere.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Experience gathering business requirements and preparing functional specifications for IT systems.
• Practical experience defining, documenting, and modifying business processes and data models.
• Experience delivering IT projects, particularly involving custom application development.
• Experience with system integration and data migration projects.
• Hands-on experience with functional and integration testing, data conversion and reconciliation, and access rights testing.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Very good command of MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Good command of English.
• Strong communication skills and motivation to work closely with business users.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and tools used in modern SDLC processes.
• Experience working in Agile environments, such as Scrum or Kanban.

Responsibilities
