Job summary

Sopra Steria is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer with French to drive design, governance, and delivery of advanced automation solutions in Katowice, Poland. You will lead teams, steer solution architecture, and engage with clients to ensure secure, scalable outcomes.

The role requires strong leadership, architectural expertise, and excellent French & English communication. Occasional travel to client sites is expected; Katowice serves as the delivery hub.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex automated solutions and governance.
• Strong architecture and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary technical teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication across client and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, architecture, and implementation of complex automation solutions.
• Manage studies, effort, cost, and risk estimations for projects.
• Oversee delivery, SLAs, budgets, and timelines.
• Participate in governance meetings, pre-sales, and solution scoping.
• Ensure quality, security, data integrity, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop technical teams; foster knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with architects, vendors, and partners on new tech.
• Monitor risks, escalations, and incident response; optimize delivery.
