Job summary

Infolet Kraków is seeking a skilled backend engineer to help build internal tools supporting Future State Architecture across CTO Platforms. You will work with backend services, web UI, databases, and AI agents to automate software development workflows.

The position requires Node.js/Java, PostgreSQL expertise, and strong collaboration with architects and platform engineers in a hybrid environment (2 days in the office, 3 days remote).

Qualifications

• Proficient in backend development with Node.js and/or Java.
• Strong PostgreSQL data modelling and query optimisation knowledge.
• Understanding of AI agents and agentic engineering practices.
• Experience with integration patterns including APIs, MCP, and tool/function calling.
• Solid production engineering principles: security, resilience, observability, testing.
• Experience designing internal platforms or developer tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain internal tools supporting Future State Architecture across CTO Platforms.

Kraków ( Hybrid - 2 days in the office / 3 days remote )

PROJECT

Join a global engineering environment focused on building internal tools supporting Future State Architecture (FSA) across CTO Platforms.

You will work on production-grade solutions used by architects and engineering teams, combining backend development, web UI, databases, integrations, and AI agent technologies. The role involves building reliable internal platforms and introducing agentic engineering practices to automate software development workflows.

YOU WILL

• Design, build, and maintain internal tools supporting Future State Architecture across CTO Platforms
• Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js and/or Java
• Integrate applications with PostgreSQL and other enterprise data sources
• Build and enhance web UI components supporting workflows for architects and engineering teams
• Develop and orchestrate autonomous AI agents supporting software build, testing, and deployment processes
• Implement integration patterns using MCP, tool/function calling, and APIs
• Collaborate with architects, platform engineers, and stakeholders to translate architecture requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure solutions meet engineering standards for security, performance, resilience, observability, testing, and documentation
• Contribute to code reviews, automation, operational support, and continuous improvement of the engineering toolchain

MUST HAVE

• Strong software engineering experience with Node.js and/or Java
• Very good knowledge of PostgreSQL, including data modelling and query optimisation
• Understanding of AI agents / agentic application engineering
• Experience with integration patterns such as APIs, MCP, and tool/function calling
• Strong understanding of production engineering principles, including security, resilience, performance, observability, and automated testing
• Experience designing solutions for internal platforms, developer tooling, or similar engineering environments
• Strong English communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in an international environment
