Job summary

SK hynix memory solutions Poland in Gdańsk is seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to lead Linux infrastructure deployments, manage storage and networking, and ensure stability of HPC clusters and lab environments. You will patch and optimize Linux servers, oversee HPC and CAD server infrastructure, administer NetApp ONTAP and Dell Unity storage, and handle datacenter operations.

Strong scripting skills and English proficiency are required, with hybrid work and a potential

Qualifications

• 6–7 years of hands‑on infrastructure engineering and systems administration.
• Strong Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu).
• Expertise with storage protocols (NFS, iSCSI, SMB) and storage arrays (NetApp ONTAP, Dell Unity).
• Solid networking fundamentals (Cisco switches, VLANs, LACP) and firewall basics.
• Scripting/automation skills in Bash, Python, and Ansible.
• Datacenter hardware installation and cabling experience.
• Professional English proficiency (B1+).

Responsibilities

• Manage and patch Linux server environments supporting engineering tools.
• Oversee HPC clusters and CAD server infrastructure across labs.
• Administer NetApp ONTAP and Dell Unity storage, maintaining protocols.
• Configure datacenter networking and firewall appliances; rack and cabling tasks.
• Automate routine operations with Bash, Python, Ansible and support VMware ESXi/vCenter configurations.
• Act as L2/L3 escalation point and lead infrastructure projects.
