Job summary

Aptiv in Kraków seeks an experienced Linux administrator to design, configure, and maintain Linux environments across development, testing, and production. You will manage systems, users, services, and network interfaces, while diagnosing OS and hardware issues.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (server and embedded) administration.
• Excellent CLI and Bash scripting skills.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting system, network, and hardware issues.
• Familiarity with data logging, processing, and visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Linux environments (Ubuntu, Debian) used in development, testing, and production systems.
• Manage system configurations, users, services, permissions, and network interfaces.
• Diagnose and resolve OS, networking, hardware, drivers, and application issues.
• Create and maintain installation guides, diagnostic procedures, and documentation.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and system integration teams to troubleshoot and implement features.
• Contribute to software development for data logging, processing, and visualization tools.
• Provide technical and product support for data-related tools.
• Support continuous improvements of tools, processes, and system architecture.
