Job summary

HeadHR is seeking an experienced Payroll and HR Operations Lead in Poland to oversee payroll outsourcing services within contracts and SLAs. You will ensure accurate payroll calculations, deductions and tax withholdings, and maintain compliance.

You will set objectives, KPIs and development plans; lead meetings, reviews and 1:1s, support audits, analyze discrepancies, drive automation, and manage vendors and testing for system changes.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of payroll experience, preferably in outsourced or shared service environments.
• Proven people leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax and social security regulations.
• Advanced MS Excel and confident use of payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR Operations and deliver payroll outsourcing services within contracts and SLAs.
• Oversee accurate, timely payroll calculations, deductions and tax withholdings.
• Ensure compliance with legal, tax, social security and internal policies.
• Set objectives, KPIs and development plans; run meetings, reviews and 1:1s.
• Support payroll audits, analyse discrepancies and drive automation.
• Manage vendors, escalations and system change testing.
